Project 2: Rotoscope. Create a frame-by-frame animation from a live action sequence, roughly 10 seconds long. Emphasis on smoothness, line consistency and volume control.
I decided to do a dance scene from the Kpop group EXO. There was supposed to be sound, however my video decided to not want to cooperate. It still looks pretty good to me. I killed myself with choosing to do two characters. The actual footage also made it difficult having to keep track of their feet because there was dense fog on the ground. In the end I think it worked out very well.
This was the scene where I took the clip from that also has the mosaic that was supposed to be in it.
Project 3: Weight: Have your character interact with a weight. You may use or reference any part of your walk cycle to create an introduction to the scene/have your character approach the object to be lifted. As you could see from my previous post I really like animals. I work in a pet store so if I'm not taking care of the pets then im watching them/looking after them. I find hamsters interesting. When we were given this project the first thing that came to mind was a hamster boarding its food and struggling to move it all. Which I have seen a lot at work.
