Project 5: Dialogue - Create a 5-10 second dialogue acting piece using any technique or program that you’ve worked with so far - Frame by Frame, Stop Motion or After Ef- fects. https://youtu.be/_YTAQCBHV8Q I chose to do a part of a scene from a youtube skit called "Marcel the shell with shoes on". I cut and pasted the audio to fir what I needed. I draw the scene and the character in SketchbookPro and made the mouth and put everything together in AfterEffects.

Project 4: Motion Media - Create a document with at least 15 seconds of motion media animation, based on lyrics of a song, a spoken poem or dialogue. Must be syncronized to dialogue or music. https://youtu.be/TIUXB_tqXdY I did not want to do a standard "Lyric" video and decided instead to use part of a script from the movie "IT". I had fun drawing most of the images shown. and cutting all the words to match the actual movie.

Assignment 4: Bouncing Ball in Environment Re-create the bouncing ball in an environment created in After Ef- fects. The ball must encounter and react to at least one obstacle. We had to take a bouncing ball and in a way "Animate" it in an environment and have it interact with an object. I built a castle and had the ball hit a wall that was near it. My first idea was to actually have the ball bounce into the castle but I couldn't come up with anything for it to interact with.

Project 3: Weight: Have your character interact with a weight. You may use or reference any part of your walk cycle to create an introduction to the scene/have your character approach the object to be lifted. As you could see from my previous post I really like animals. I work in a pet store so if I'm not taking care of the pets then im watching them/looking after them. I find hamsters interesting. When we were given this project the first thing that came to mind was a hamster boarding its food and struggling to move it all. Which I have seen a lot at work.

Assignment 3: Walk Cycle: Create a Walk Cycle Animation for a character (can be an original character or an existing one). Have the character walk across the stage towards an object that they will, in the next project, interact with. For my walk cycle I wanted to do something different than everyone else. Since most people are comfortable just drawing two legs I really wanted to challenge myself. Since I own both a rabbit and a cat I had plenty of footage of them walking/runnin to be able to study it and see what they looked like to be able to make the frames. The biggest problem I ran into was syncing up both the cycles. In the end I just ended up adding a couple more frames to my rabbit so it would be a bit smoother.

Project 2: Rotoscope . Create a frame-by-frame animation from a live action sequence, roughly 10 seconds long. Emphasis on smoothness, line consistency and volume control. I decided to do a dance scene from the Kpop group EXO. There was supposed to be sound, however my video decided to not want to cooperate. It still looks pretty good to me. I killed myself with choosing to do two characters. The actual footage also made it difficult having to keep track of their feet because there was dense fog on the ground. In the end I think it worked out very well. This was the scene where I took the clip from that also has the mosaic that was supposed to be in it.
